Zano Partners with AEON Pay: Spend $ZANO at 50+ Million Merchants Worldwide

We're thrilled to announce that Zano is now live on AEON Pay, a crypto payment solution reaching over 50 million merchants across emerging markets!

What is AEON Pay?

AEON Pay lets you spend crypto at checkout by scanning a QR code or using bank transfers. Merchants receive local fiat instantly, no crypto knowledge required. The platform supports:

• 50+ million merchants across Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America
• Countries including Nigeria, Vietnam, Brazil, Mexico, Philippines, Georgia and many more countries will be added soon.
• QR code and bank transfer payments

AEON Pay runs as a Telegram Mini App and integrates with major crypto wallets, including Bitget Wallet, Binance Wallet, OKX Wallet, and more.

For everyday spending, no KYC is required for transactions up to $200 per payment, with a $500 daily limit and $5,000 monthly limit. Higher limits are available with basic verification.

AEON Pay only charges a 0.8% top-up fee when loading your account. Spending at merchants comes with no extra charges.

This brings Zano's privacy infrastructure to regions where it matters most, places facing currency instability, capital controls, or financial surveillance.

Why Emerging Markets?

QR code payments dominate in the regions AEON Pay serves. Asia-Pacific accounts for over 60% of global QR payment volume; Brazil's PIX system has over 175 million users; and Nigeria's QR-focused fintech sector grew by 45% in 2025.

Card infrastructure doesn't reach everyone in these regions. Over 55 million micro-merchants can't afford card terminals or interchange fees. AEON Pay bypasses this entirely. The merchant only needs a phone and a QR code.

How This Complements the Zebec Card

Since August 2025, Zano has been live on Zebec's Silver and Carbon cards. You can load $ZANO from your wallet and spend anywhere Mastercard is accepted, with Apple Pay and Google Pay support.
