Enhancing the Zano Development Experience: Updated Libraries and Documentation
Following the successful release of confidential tokens, we have observed an inspiring increase in developers building on our platform. To support this growth and make development on Zano as intuitive and straightforward as possible, we are excited to announce extensive updates to our libraries and a comprehensive expansion of our documentation.
Commitment to Simplified Development Tools
The launch of confidential tokens has been a catalyst for innovation on the Zano platform. It has not only expanded the capabilities of our blockchain but also inspired a wave of new applications focused on privacy. In response, we have refined our tools and resources to better support developers in leveraging Zano's features effectively.
Key Updates
Refined Libraries
Our development team has been focused on enhancing the existing libraries to improve functionality and ease of integration:
- Zano Web3 TS: A typescript library that provides a comprehensive set of tools for interacting with the Zano Companion directly from the browser, simplifying the process of connecting to a user's extension, handling authentication, and managing wallet credentials. In addition to its client-side capabilities, Zano Web3 TS includes methods for robust server-side communication with the Zano wallet and daemon, ensuring seamless backend integration.
- Mobile Libraries (Flutter/Android & iOS): These have been updated to offer more robust features for mobile developers, enabling seamless integration into a wider range of applications.
- Native Crypto Library for iOS/Android (C++): Updated to provide essential cryptographic functionalities needed for secure and reliable app development.

Detailed Exchange Guidelines
We've also introduced detailed exchange guidelines to assist developers and exchange operators in managing multi-asset custody and integrating Zano into their platforms.
These guidelines cover everything from technical setup to security best practices, ensuring a smooth and secure integration process. Read the detailed exchange guidelines.
Expanded and Autogenerated Documentation
Clear and comprehensive documentation is crucial for development efficiency. We've greatly expanded our documentation to include autogenerated content, ensuring it remains accurate and up to date:
- Updated RPC API Guide: Now features detailed request and response examples for all methods available. Additionally, documentation for both the Daemon and Wallet APIs can be automatically generated using the
--generate-rpc-autodoc
key, simplifying the process of keeping API descriptions current.
Forward Together
This update marks another step towards making Zano the most developer-friendly privacy blockchain platform. By providing powerful, easy-to-use tools and clear documentation, we aim to facilitate the creation of innovative privacy-focused solutions.
We invite all developers to explore these updated resources and consider what you can build on the Zano platform. We value your feedback and look forward to supporting you in your development journey.
Stay tuned for more updates and continue to build impactful solutions with us in the realm of digital privacy.
